The couple running the property is hard working and trustworthy. The rooms were large and clean. They provided everything that they advertised. Unfortunately, other items were lacking. No cold water was provided to drink at the breakfast. Instead, they had bottles of water for sale only. Breakfast was not available until 7:30am. The community bathroom by the pool's door lock did not work. Finally, they did not let us check in until check-in time even though the rooms were ready. Basically, their understanding of customer service is not what I expect from a property and that clouded my entire stay.

Truly enjoyed our rooms with jacuzzi. The location was favourable and stunning, so close to grocery store and shopping plaza and the public beach in Saint Augustine and the ocean. It was just a short stroll away from Subway, serving fast food. The service was good, we felt welcome...

Great (short) walk along elevated boardwalk nature trail through trees to broad sandy beach. Near supermarket and short drive into town itself.

the only complaints here were the "continental" breakfast. english muffins, toaster waffels, corn flakes. really blah watery coffee. we enjoyed the children of the staff. the basketball hoop was a huge hit. the pool was very well maintained. the lawn chaises, have cracks which pinch the skin. for the money, we would stay here again.

The manager was very friendly and approachable; laundry facilities good
Dirty windows; you could hear absolutely everything from neighboring rooms and corridors; room doors could easily have been broken in to; extremely poor breakfast (worst coffee we had during our 3 week stay in Florida)

Everything seemed to be rationed. The breakfast, toiletries and towels were sparse. The needs or desires of the customer did not seem to be paramount.

Friendly, trustworthy, owner offered special rate for second day! Privacy in room (little wall between queen beds, if you need privacy :) ) Big room! Nice clean beach around the corner you can reach by foot
Breakfast was a little too simple, Balcony share with othere rooms, couldn't leave curtains open because of that (not enough privacy.

Pleasantly surprise...I Was a bit worried about the saving so much money but the hotel was fairly priced. It's definitely an older hotel but again well maintained and safe location. There are no additional amendities, but you'll get a clean, well kept family run hotel...nice walk to the beach and starbucks! I would recommend it!!
They could use some newer towels and linens...or maybe recycle some of the older ones...

Loved the location next to the Beach Hammock Trail. Room was clean with nice view. Staff was very courteous, nice and attentive without being over attentive.
Room had no tissues in tissue holder. No radio. No problem.
